The PoV character commits and is subject to a lot of acts of cannibalism including butchery, including in some cases on living people. It's not less detailed than the Locked Tomb books but it's less...over the top, which means I found it more difficult to deal with. Cannibalism is a particular squick of mine so YMMV, but I'd say a fairly strong stomach is required.
