The Tarr sounds like an amped up version of my first and only experience with Jodi Taylor's take on the time-travel thing... but that was a whole series (which I did not go on to after the first taste).
If it makes you feel any better, I didn't post my 2020 review until nearly the end of 2021... these times they are a-doin' something.
