Yes, Peter going undercover was interesting as an idea but VERY stressful to read about. It also interacted...weirdly...with the fantasy that RoL as a modern police-centric series has to hold up, which is that the police are ultimately a force for good. Having Peter undercover almost got to the point of interrogating that, but then didn't quite.
In some ways I feel like AOW works *better* as a post-LS reset than FV did.
