You've reminded me that I really want to re-read early Max Gladstone (and there's a few of his books knocking around in my TBR pile somewhere that I never got to. I flared out on him when I was not all that enthused by two of the Craft sequence books in a row, but...I keep wanting to fill in and read the other stuff he's put out.
