Thank you for highlighting this part (non-part?) of the books. It's very thought-provoking to me. I guess in a spirit of forbearance I would wonder if it's just such a touchy subject that Greenwood has decided to leave it alone in favor of getting easier, more acceptable stories done, but errrrgh probably not. It's like the flip side of my favorite problematic books (Patricia Wrightson's The Ice is Coming), where an Aboriginal epic mythos is written by...a white lady. On the one hand, yay something written that acknowledges and celebrates other perspectives, but oh dear I don't know what all is being warped or ignored.
